Here are some key highlights:
- There are 22.81 lakh active registered companies and LLPs in India at present. The month of April 2025 saw 31,497 new companies incorporated in 6,017 pincodes (compared with 29,870 new companies incorporated in 5,904 pincodes in March 2025).
- 5.8% more entities were incorporated in India in the last 12 months with MCA, as compared to the previous period (259.4k during the period May-24 to Apr-25 vs 245.2k during the period May-23 to Apr-24). Also, as compared to the Apr-24, 44.0% more entities were registered in India in Apr-25.
- As of Apr-25, there are 2,913.5k Indian and 55.6k foreign active directors in India.

- West Region, has 340.7k charges covering 5 State (West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim) with total charges of Rs 1,66,15,796.0 cr.
- South Region, has 248.6k charges covering 5 State (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh) with total charges of Rs 73,39,083.0 cr.
- East Region, has 108.6k charges covering 4 State (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa) with total charges of Rs 22,07,030.5 cr.
- Central Region, has 35.4k charges covering 2 State (Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh) with total charges of Rs 5,88,173.1 cr.
- North East Region, has 8.8k charges covering 7 State (Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram) with total charges of Rs 1,13,563.7 cr.
- Union Territories of India, has 163.8k charges covering 9 Union Territories (Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Pondicherry, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Ladakh, Lakshadweep) with total charges of Rs 53,28,179.2 cr.
