- There are 22.32 lakh active registered companies and LLPs in India at present
- The month of February 2025 saw 23,079 new companies incorporated in 5,275 pincodes (compared with 23,079 new companies incorporated in 5,207 pincodes in December 2025)
- 1.5% more entities got incorporated in India in the last 12 months with MCA, as compared to the previous period (241.9k during the period Mar-24 to Feb-25 vs 238.2k during the period Mar-23 to Feb-24 ). Also, as compared to Feb-24, 0.1% more entities were registered in India in Feb-25
- The top 5 Probe Industries based on total count are Information Technology (110.4k), Real Estate (103.5k), BFSI (86.7k), Manufacturing (63k), Outsourcing (60.5k)

- North Region has 111.3k charges covering 5 states (Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh) with total charges of Rs 26,36,996.9 cr
- East Region has 107.2k charges covering 4 states (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa) with total charges of Rs 22,05,189.4 cr
- South Region has 245.3k charges covering 5 states (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh) with total charges of Rs 71,73,775.4 cr
- West Region has 336.6k charges covering 5 states (West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim) with total charges of Rs 1,55,98,374.7 cr
- Central Region has 34.9k charges covering 2 states (Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh) with total charges of Rs 5,86,168.7 cr
- North East Region has 8.7k charges covering 7 states (Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram) with total charges of Rs 1,12,623.0 cr
- Union Territories of India have 161.8k charges covering 9 UTs (Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Pondicherry, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Ladakh, Lakshadweep) with a total charges of Rs 52,75,542.7 cr
