- There are 22.50 lakh active registered companies and LLPs in India at present. The month of March 2025 saw 29,870 new companies incorporated in 5,904 pincodes (compared with 23,079 new companies incorporated in 5,275 pincodes in February 2025).
- 2.3% more entities got incorporated in India in the last 12 months with MCA, as compared to the previous period (249.8k during the period.
- Apr-24 to Mar-25 vs 244.2k during the period Apr-23 to Mar-24). Also, as compared to the Mar-24, 35.9% more entities were registered in India in Mar-25.
- As of Mar-25, there are 2,858.6k Indian and 54.5k foreign active directors in India.
